The History of the Perry Hotel
If you don’t know, I love learning about the story and history of wedding venues… and this place has a special history. The Stafford’s Perry Hotel has been welcoming guests from all across the world for 123 years. The hotel originally was intended to be a hospital. However, Petoskey’s city fathers urged the owner to allow it to be a hotel. The owner agreed to move the hospital and the hotel quickly became a center of liveliness, entertainment and joy. Due to the success, the hotel was expanded to double guest capacity. Over the years the Stafford’s Perry Hotel has continued to perform extensive interior and exterior renovations to honor the legacy and serve its guests today. There were 21 hotels in operation in 1900 – the Perry Hotel is the only one still in operation to this day.

You can choose from floral arrangements, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and more to make you and your guests’ stay extra special. All-in-One Location
If you are looking for ease and having everything all in one central location, the Perry Hotel is perfect. You can get ready in the bayside queen superior room which has a large, private balcony and stunning panoramic views of the water.
For your wedding ceremony, you can get married under the Rose Garden Veranda. Your guests can watch you marry in comfort with the clear glass outdoor ceiling, cooling fans and stringed lights. There is also a decorated water fountain with gorgeous flowers!
After your vows are said, you can have the option to have your wedding reception in the Rose Garden Veranda or the H.O. Rose Room.
Pricing Information
If you’d like your wedding ceremony and reception outside in the Rose Garden Veranda, that space is available from June to September with prices starting at $6,000. If you’d like your ceremony outside in the Rose Garden Veranda and your reception inside the H.O. Rose Room, that option is available from May to October with pricing starting at $6,000. The H.O. Rose Room is available all year round with pricing starting at $3,500.
