Allison and Andrew chartered a private sailboat off of the coast of Lake Michigan for their engagement photo session. The soft breeze and sparkling blue waters of Lake Michigan created the idyllic backdrop for their engagement photos. I will never be over these photos! Such a dream!
Sailboat Engagement Photos in Michigan
For the second look, Allison and Andrew changed into a more formal look. This dress was a dream to photograph – I mean how fun are those bows?! This look was definitely one of my favorites. This outfit pairing is just a showstopper and exuded a sense of fashion-forward elegance.
Inspired by the pages of Vogue, this look screamed effortless sophistication, perfectly complementing the ambiance of the sailboat at sunset. With glasses of Veuve Clicquot in hand, Allison and Andrew toasted to their love, looking like the stars of their own glamorous editorial spread.
After docking the sailboat, the session continued along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. The sandy beaches provided a serene and romantic setting for additional photographs. The setting sun also painted the sky with hues of pink and blue and made it the dreamiest backdrop for photos. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather!
What better way to end a dreamy engagement session than with a romantic picnic? Surrounded by the setting sun, Allison and Andrew popped more Veuve Clicquot champagne and enjoyed some snacks. I couldn’t think of a more Michigan snack than cherries!
