Mariah and Joshua’s Waldenwoods wedding is great inspiration for a whimsical spring garden party wedding. This wedding incorporated a beautiful pastel color pallet and fluttering butterfly details for an overall romantic and whimsical vibe. Waldenwoods, located in between Detroit and Chicago, was a perfect fit to match the overall aesthetic.
I was absolutely in love with all the fashion from this day! First, Mariah’s wedding dress was a classic white ballgown with floral textures. Second, the bridesmaid’s dresses were all different patterns and pastel colors, giving the overall look a very organic feel. Lastly, I also love how the white paper parasols were incorporated and that the bridesmaids carried whicker basket bouquets as a fun, unique detail!
Butterflies were incorporated in so many aspects of the wedding to add to the spring English garden party theme. The bridesmaids bouquets were accented with delicate butterfly accents, the same faux butterflies were scattered around the ceremony florals, and each guest seating had a butterfly name tag to indicate where the guest sat at each reception table. In addition, the bride and groom also had vintage blue Chevrolet Camaro that made for fun portraits!
Each element had been thoughtfully curated to reflect things that Mariah adores, creating an unforgettable and personalized experience for all. Thank you so much to my dear friend, Jaime Rose, for bringing me along to help capture this beautiful day. Soft colors, delicate details, beautiful florals, and Mariah marrying Joshua in front of their closest family and friends made for the most perfect Waldenwoods wedding.
