Michigan is full of incredible, breath taking views – one of those being the city of Charlevoix! This beautiful city was the spot Andrew chose to ask his girlfriend, Anna, to become his wife. When Andrew contacted me, he expressed that he wanted to propose on the dock where his family’s boat was. I was so excited and even more excited when I saw with my own eyes how beautiful this location was. I arrived early, stationed myself about halfway up the boat dock, and acted like I was a tourist taking photos of the scenery. Andrew and Anna passed me and headed to the end of the dock. My heart was racing as I was so excited for these two! Once Andrew retrieved the ring from the family boat, he got down on one knee and asked Anna to be his wife and… she said YES!
After Andrew proposed, he had Van Dam custom boats pick him and Anna up for a romantic boat ride around the lake. This boat was such a beauty, and hearing of the craftsmanship that goes into making one just made it that more impressive!
After they arrived back on the dock, Andrew and Anna’s family members were waiting to congratulate them.
