Features of the Amway Grand Hotel

There are so many incredible wedding venues in West Michigan, especially in the city of Grand Rapids. But the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel wedding venue has a distinct charm to it. In the hustle and bustle of downtown, the Amway makes you feel at peace. The opulent water fountain in the main lobby, grand chandeliers, soft lighting and the elegant furnishings all around make this wedding venue a truly special place.

About the Editorial

This spring wedding editorial took place just days after the Imperial Ballroom went under a cosmetic renovation! The walls are now painted white, the drapes have been updated to a blue hue, and the carpet has been replaced with a blue and gold hue as well. The vendors for this editorial, including Kate from Valley and Oak Events, Gigi and Laclede and Special Occasions did an amazing job choosing a table setting that paired nicely with the new renovation look.

Next to the Amway Grand Plaza is the Civic Auditorium. We walked over there to capture some photos in front of the beautiful architecture and also get photos in front of the blooming pink trees. I was so excited seeing these beautiful trees since it has been such a late, cold spring this year!

I hope you enjoy these photos of the Amway Grand wedding venue in Grand Rapids!
