The Ceconi Castle | Where Your Heirlooms are Created

Heirlooms

A grand manor nestled in the mountains of Italy and a symbol of resourcefulness of yesterday and today.

Surrounded by breathtaking scenery of the Alps mountains in northern Italy, the Ceconi Castle is the home where your wedding albums, wall art and other printed heirlooms are hand-crafted. The castle was first built in 1885 by Count Giacomo Chiconi.

Before it became the Ceconi Castle, it was the very humble residence of Giacomo Chiconi. He expanded his family home to take on the look of a Ghibelline castle. The once humble home was transformed into a large, glamorous castle in hopes that the Chiconi family would stay tied to their native village of Pielungo, located in the valley below the castle. For the works of the building, Giacomo Chiconi stayed more and more frequently in his native village (1890-1908) to attend to the design and construction of his noble residence, also not failing to work at the same time for his country of Italy. Chiconi even had a special museum-like room built inside the castle that housed many of his prized drawings, diplomas, medals and more.

Count Chiconi was famous for being one of the most important builders of railways and roads in the Austro-Hungarian empire and was also named a noble by Emperor Franz Joseph I and count by King Umberto I. During both World War I and II, the castle remained standing even with damage done to the exterior. In years later, a hurricane caused damage to the interior as well. Fortunately, in 2008, Graphi Studio bought the castle and restored it to its glory, keeping the original design in every possible aspect.

When searching for a photo lab, I had requirements that I stood firm on. First, I wanted the products to be of the highest quality in the world. As a wedding photographer, I want your legacy to be preserved for hundreds of years and for it to be held by the hands of future generations. Graphi Studio uses the same craftsmanship and level of quality products as brands like Versace, Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Valentino. Second, I wanted a photography lab that shared a similar brand as mine. Graphi Studio and I believe in the value of historic old world charm while mixing in modern technology to create an incredible product and experience. One day, I will visit the Ceconi Castle in person to fully admire its beauty and thank its craftsmen. Until then, I’ll continue to admire it from the states and continue supporting it while providing you with the highest quality photo products in the world.
