An engagement session on the day of your birthday?! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate another year of life than capturing the love you share with your person! I’m already looking forward to their wedding next May at the War Memorial. If their engagement session is any indication of how their wedding day will unfold, we’re in for something really special.
We started their downtown Detroit engagement session at the Fischer Building in Detroit. The ornate elevator with its gold detailing and marble surroundings created such an elegant atmosphere. Doria looked stunning in her elegant black dress with sheer sleeves, sophisticated and timeless. Joey complemented her in his classic black suit.
Next, we made our way to the Detroit Institute of Arts, where the grand architecture and sweeping steps offered a formal, romantic setting. Doria’s white dress with the bow was a dream to photograph!
We concluded their Detroit engagement session at the Detroit Riverwalk. The waterfront location gave us a beautiful backdrop with the Canadian skyline in the distance.
Happy birthday, Doria, and congratulations to both of you on your engagement! Here’s to love, laughter, and many more birthdays celebrated together. I’m forever grateful to be able to capture it.
