On July 22, Emily and John were married near the shores of Lake Michigan for their Holland Michigan wedding. Emily grew up here, and to witness this location turn into the wedding reception of her dreams was so special. Their sailcloth tented celebration close by the shoreline encapsulated a whimsical, coastal feel. Thank you so much, Jaime Rose, for tagging me along on this special day!

Holland, Michigan is a wonderful location to have your West Michigan wedding. Not only is it full of scenic beauty, but the town is also full of rich history, culture, and charm. It’s this blend of natural beauty and refinement that makes a tented celebration in Holland an irresistible choice for couples seeking a distinctive and memorable wedding experience.

The color palette chosen by Emily and John, featuring pastel pinks and classic black and white, mirrored their exquisite taste and added a touch of timeless sophistication to every moment. The blend of soft hues against the backdrop of the serene lake created a picturesque setting perfect for a Holland Michigan wedding.

Guests enjoyed lived music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and hand crafted cocktails.

Emily of Connolly House Events did a wonderful job as the wedding planner and was such a joy to work with.

Bluewater Kings Band was absolutely incredible. They infused so much energy and fun for all the wedding guests and had the dance floor packed all night long. Whether you prefer traditional classic or modern hits, they can do it all. I highly recommend having live music at your wedding and especially this fantastic and talented group.
