The High Five is a Grand Rapids wedding venue located downtown. This west Michigan wedding venue has a contemporary and industrial feel. The hardwood floors, brick walls and loft setting overlooking Grand Rapids provides a scenic space to have your wedding.
Reception and Ceremony Spaces
The reception and ceremony spaces at the High Five GR take place on the 4th and 5th floors. The 4th floor, as shown below, offers lots of natural lighting and white walls. The nice thing about the 4th floor is that at the end of the aisle there is a large room where the bride can be in hiding. When the time is ready, the doors open and she is right at the end of the aisle ready to walk down.
The 5th floor is a great ceremony space for larger weddings. The large arched windows and exposed brick walls make a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony photos. I absolutely love the high, vaulted industrial ceilings that provide such an open space to say your vows.
The High Five GR offers bronze, silver and gold packages. The bronze package includes reception on the 5th floor. The silver package includes your ceremony on the 4th floor and your cocktail hour and reception on the 5th floor. The gold package includes your ceremony on the 5th floor, cocktail hour on the 4th floor and during the cocktail hour the 5th floor is transformed into your reception area. This wedding venue has the capacity to hold up to 300 guests.
Pricing
The High Five has a starting rental fee of $4,900 for receptions and $5,500 for ceremonies during peak season according to wedding wire. This starting fee includes the bridal suite, event planning, set up, chairs, lighting/sound, tables, clean up and parking.
The High Five GR can readily accommodate food and beverages for your special day. They partner with six of the area’s finest food and beverage caterers to offer you a range of cuisines and budgets.

Since the High Five is located in downtown Grand Rapids, you have lots of photo opportunities! Here are a few of my favorite photo locations:

- Millennium Park
- The area all around the Rosa Parks Circle
- The Blue Bridge
- The edge of the Grand River (opposite of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel)
